GISDA is the only charitable organisation in Gwynedd that provides all of the services – supported housing, support and professional advice.

If GISDA wasn’t here what would happen to our young people who have nowhere to go and no one to turn to?

Just because you may not see a young person on the street, it doesn’t mean that there isn’t a homelessness problem in our communities. Young people will ‘sofa surf’ in friend’s houses while they can – they are still homeless - and need our help. It must be frightening to be a young person without a home.

Fortunately, GISDA is here to help but we do need your support to help us to support more young people both now and in the future.

25 year milestone
We reached our 25th birthday last October and our service is as much in demand today as it has always been.

In today’s economic climate our services are increasingly under pressure, even though they are still in demand.

We have helped over 2000 young people through the years and continue to help around 100 young people each year.

We would like to be able to help more.
