It’s been a year now since I left GISDA.

GISDA supported me so much before I even moved into their supported housing and continued to support me after I left. My life, and the life of my family, has improved so much thanks to GISDA. We are now living in our permanent home and we couldn’t have done it without GISDA. Whenever I had a problem, a member of staff was only a phone call away and always ready to help when we needed it.

I received a range of support at GISDA, from learning how to fill forms to accessing potential accommodation. I also received support with managing my finances, building my confidence, and helping me access mother and baby groups – all of which helped me socialise, get to know other mothers and make good friends. Every member of staff at GISDA makes you feel welcome and tries to make sure that you're happy. Without GISDA I would not have found my dream home – I cannot thank them enough!
