My name is M. I became homeless and moved to GISDA 18 months ago. At first I found living in GISDA hard but slowly I gained confidence and felt more at home. GISDA has helped me with many things such as work, learning new skills and, most importantly, guiding me on the right path in life as I could have easily gone down the dark road. I have learned that living independently is not easy and I don’t take anything for granted anymore. I can now look forward to the future. I appreciate the support that GISDA has given to me and I would recommend it to anyone who is in the same situation as I was.
