LGBTQ+ Youth Project

Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, our LGBTQ+ Youth Project is dedicated to providing support to young people identifying as LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer +).

By providing a safe space for self-expression and connection, the project empowers young people between the age of 14-25 to embrace their identities with confidence. Through outreach and education, the project promotes inclusivity and understanding within broader communities, breaking down barriers and promoting acceptance.

SAFE SPACES FOR SELF-EXPRESSION

At the heart of the project are dynamic and welcoming weekly youth clubs where members can connect and freely express themselves without any worries. Whether through shared interests, casual conversations, or organised activities, the clubs provide a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels embraced and celebrated.

Join us at one of our weekly clubs, we can't wait to meet you!

Caernarfon: Every Tuesday 6pm-8pm

Blaenau Ffestiniog: Every Wednesday 5:30pm-7:30pm

Pwllheli: Every Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm

BEYOND THE CLUB WALLS

Accredited Training and Awareness Sessions: We offer engaging training sessions on LGBTQ+ topics for schools, colleges and other organisations involved with youth well-being. These interactive workshops help break down barriers, build bridges, and foster inclusive communities by delving into the diverse experiences within the LGBTQ+ community.

Volunteering Opportunities: The project also has great volunteering opportunities for young people enabling them to learn new skills and make a difference in their community. Interested? Reach out and see how you can get involved!
